Crude extract is a mixture of cannabinoids, terpenes, waxes, and residual solvent whose boiling points sit close together under vacuum. Separating them cleanly takes theoretical plates, not just heat. The 9200 runs a rotating Teflon band inside the column, which keeps a thin, continuously renewed film against the wall and delivers a high plate count in a short column with very low hold-up.
The practical result is fewer passes. Where multi-pass setups recycle heads and tails to chase potency, a single controlled run typically lands 90–95% total active cannabinoids — less thermal history on the product and less rework on the floor.
